Training at the Elite Academy of Martial Arts in Tucker offers numerous benefits for your child. Our program provides a constructive way to channel excess energy and improve fitness while fostering essential life skills. Through consistent practice, students develop self-control, concentration, and self-discipline. We also emphasize respect and socialization, as students bow during class and collaborate with their peers during drills.
Our JKD Juniors and Little Dragons curriculum features a modified version of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do the art Bruce Lee created. In addition to learning punching, kicking, and grappling techniques, your child will gain practical skills for bully prevention and stranger awareness.
Each 45-minute class includes:
– Warm-up & Stretching: A light start to prepare for physical activity.
– Technique & Drills (25 minutes): Reviewing known skills and learning new movements.
– Interactive Learning (10 minutes): Games, role-playing for bully prevention, or stranger avoidance exercises.
Please note that students will also occasionally participate in supervised sparring with protective equipment.

Q: Is there a free trial?
A: Sorry, we do not offer a free trial or intro class.
Q: What days are the classes on?
A: The Juniors come on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:15 pm, and the Little Dragons come on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 – 6:15 pm.
Q: What if there aren’t any spots available?
A: You can request to be notified when a spot opens.
Q: How long is the wait?
A: Anywhere between 1-6 months.
Q: Are there any discounts?
A: No, we do not offer any discounts.
Q: Are there any special tuition rates if my child can only come to a limited number of classes?
A: No, we only offer a flat monthly tuition rate. At that rate, your child can come to as many or as few classes as you want.
Q: What do I pay when I enroll my child?
A: You’ll pay the first month, and buy a uniform.
Q: How does membership and payment work?
A: All membership plans are paid on a monthly basis by auto drafting your credit or debit card. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Q: Can I pay you month to month with cash?
A: No, we only accept monthly payments through recurring billing. We do accept cash when you purchase equipment, uniforms, or make your first month’s payment when your child enrolls.
Q: When is my billing date?
A: Your billing date is the same day each month as the enrollment date. If you enroll on the 5th of the month, then your billing date is the 5th of every month.
We do not offer free trials, but you can schedule an observation.
My son has been going over a year now. He is very excited to go to class. He has met some great friends and has learned how to deal with situations that he may be exposed to in his life. It is wonderful see the joy in your child’s eyes when they learn something new and are able to do it. Sifu is a wonderful patient teacher. The kids enjoy the different ways he teaches them new things. He really takes the time to make they understand and they make the moves correctly. We love it!
Sifu Kevin teaches my 7 year old daughter and she loves going to class. He is excellent with kids and teaches them skills beyond the technical training of the different techniques. He instills tremendous life values such as kindness, courage, power, love, respect, and discipline. I really like how he incorporates stranger danger and bully prevention in each class. He is extremely knowledgeable of all forms of martial arts and one of my daughter’s favorite parts of class is when he tells stories about his life and training. I highly recommend this school for anyone, any age, interested in learning martial arts.
My daughter is currently a student at this school and we are EXTREMELY pleased with our experience. Sifu is always professional and understanding. He pushes ALL of the students to think, react appropriately, maintain discipline, and be the best they can be. Not only that, he allows them to be kids and have fun when time allows.
